Paper Submission

This is an agreement between you (‘the Submitter‘; I; me) and the organiser (‘the Organizer‘) of the MNE conference (‘the Conference’).

I understand that the international Micro and Nano Engineering society (‘iMNEs‘) through the Organizer of its Micro-Nano-Engineering Conference evaluate, review and have evaluated, reviewed by members of the international program committee all the abstracts and papers submitted for presentation at the Conference.

I also understand that the Organizer wants to promote and advertise the Conference. An important channel is to publicly announce the participation of (some) authors and the titles of their presentation and their affiliation, preferably and if provided together with a portrait-photo of the presenter.

Moreover I understand, that for all accepted contributions, the title, the list of all co-authors including their affiliation, the abstracts, the short abstracts, and other optionally submitted supplementary material like copies of posters or video clips will be accessible to registered participants of the Conference and active members of iMNEs through a password-protected webpage, in the conference app, and at the discretion of the Organizer in a printed conference program, a CD, a USB-stick, or a similar digital medium, which the Organizer may wish to provide to participants at the registration desk of the Conference.

Finally, I understand that the Organizer and iMNEs cannot assume any responsibility for the correctness of the submitted material. I, therefore, accept that I am the sole responsible person, and I explicitly confirm that:

• all my co-authors do agree with the submission,
• I have the rights on all submitted material (including figures etc.)
• I indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Organizer, iMNEs and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and each of them, from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense arising in any way from the presentation and/or supporting materials. The terms of this provision shall survive the termination or expiration of this Agreement.

By clicking on the “Submit Now” button and submitting a contribution to the Conference I confirm that I have read and understood, and that I agree to all of the above, and that I grant the Organizers and iMNEs a non-exclusive, non-revocable, perpetual license to reproduce and publicize the submitted material as outlined above.
